Mission Batesville 2009
Saturday, June 27
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
What is Mission Batesville?
The whole idea behind Mission Batesville is to help others be that visible expression of God’s love to others in our community - to be the “hands and feet” of Jesus.
The Missions Team works with a variety of ministries and agencies, doing projects such as painting, cleaning, yard work, community beautification (trash pick-up), food collection and anything else that is needed. We provide the tools and supplies and prepare the work plans to do all the various service projects so all you have to do is come with the attitude to do everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We will be challenged to think about our relationship with the people we are serving in addition to building relationships with the people serving beside us. We will be encouraged to think beyond ourselves during this day. Saturday evening, we will enjoy dynamic evening worship and a great message and will let us know just how big our God is! Far reaching effects will occur as we are challenged to think differently about how the church can affect and serve the community that it is in.
You must be signed up by May 31!
